It is around 12pm am just from a printing firm to process some pictures. What is now ringing in my mind is to rush to campus for my online journalism lecture. As i cross Haille Sellasie avenue towards Blue room hotel am mesmerized by a figure that make out am image am familiar with standing beside a local hotel branded 'Swahili dishes'.As i come closer to the hotel i figure out it is the charismatic investigative journalist Mohammed Ali of the only authoritative media house KTN.
What rings in my mind like most of the people when they meet this guy is something fishy is going on around.I could not pass easily without stealing a few minutes of the determined Mohammed Ali.He was speaking to a middle aged man who appeared like he was revealing some crucial information.when he was finished attending to this man i grabbed his attention for one shot.He agreed but frowned which sent a message to me as a media practitioner i was interrupting his schedule of which i understood quickly. Mohammed Ali is one simple journalist who when he strikes at an issue, the trap would catch the big fish and the small fish.He is one among many journalist who has dedicated his life to serve responsibly, accuratly and fairly to the Kenyan peolpe. It is now the challenge of up coming journalist to follow his foot steps and maintain the three cornerstone of Journalism;responsibility, accuracy and fairness. With these pillars the face of jornalism can be strengthened further and ignite uprising and awakening of the people.Bravo Mohammed Ali for your tireless contribution to change the art of Journalism.
